Specialist coaching for handlers raising confident, capable dogs ready for real-world responsibility and reliability

From pulling on the lead and shouting at the doorbell, to ignoring recall, jumping up, or reacting to bikes, cars, or other dogs—you’re not alone.
These behaviours aren’t signs of a bad dog. They’re signs your dog needs the right guidance. We’ll help you build calm focus, reliable responses, and real-world confidence—together.

From public access skills and reliable task work, to calm behaviour in busy environments and unwavering focus around distractions—training an assistance dog can feel like a huge responsibility.
You don’t have to do it alone. We’ll help you build the skills, structure, and confidence your dog needs to become a reliable, capable partner you can depend on every day.

To build confident, reliable assistance dog teams and support goal-driven owners through ethical, reward-based training that develops both the dog’s skills and the handler’s competence.

Ash is a certified dog trainer specialising in assistance dog training and high-level scent work. She works with handlers who value clear benchmarks, measurable progress, and dogs that can perform reliably in real-world environments.
Ash’s structured, progressive approach underpins the Confident Canine Awards, guiding teams from Beginner to Elite through clearly defined criteria that develop both the dog’s skills and the handler’s competence.
She supports owner-trained assistance dog teams through ethical, practical training that prioritises welfare, functionality, and long-term success. Clients are expected to train with intention, meet standards, and take ownership of their progress.
She lives with Boss, a Jack Russell Terrier, and Bean, a Belgian Malinois—both operational Lost Dog Tracking Dogs and fully qualified Assistance Dogs. Their training reflects the same standards Ash expects from her clients: strong foundations, careful proofing, and skills that hold under pressure.
